Combine salmon, capers, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, chives, parsley, and bread crumbs in a bowl. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Separate your mixture into 6 equal parts and shape them into patties. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and then in the freezer for 1 hour.
Once the patties are frozen, place them in your air fryer basket, evenly spaced, and give them a light coating of non-stick cooking spray.
Air fry for 10 minutes at 400F. They are done when they have a light, golden crust.
Add some Dijon mustard and mayonnaise to the buns, then place your patties on the bun and top with tomato and lettuce.
Serve and enjoy :)

Notes
This air fryer salmon burger recipe is a good one to prep in advance for later dinners as well. Once the burgers have frozen, simply move them into an airtight bag or container. Whenever you need a quick meal, simply remove as many salmon burgers as you need and air fry them as per the recipe. In 10 minutes, you will have a delicious, hot, and homemade meal on the table.
You might want to consider preheating your air fryer before cooking the salmon patties. This helps ensure even cooking and gives the burgers a crispy exterior.
