pound
chicken breast
cut into small pieces

head of romaine lettuce
1
cup
shredded carrots
2
cloves
garlic
minced

tablespoons
soy sauce
Instructions
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until it's no longer pink.
Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute.
Stir in the soy sauce and shredded carrots, cooking for an additional two minutes.
Wash and dry the romaine lettuce leaves.
Spoon the chicken mixture onto the lettuce leaves. Serve immediately.
Notes
Be sure to wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly and pat dry before using them.
Cut the chicken into very small pieces to ensure it cooks evenly and quickly.
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Garlic powder can be used in a pinch, but the flavor won't be as potent.
Taste your filling before putting it into the lettuce cups. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
Keep the components separate until serving. This prevents the lettuce from getting soggy.
