olive oil
Fresh herbs
dill, parsley, or thyme
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Arrange the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, and fresh herbs.
Rub the mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Always preheat your oven. This ensures the salmon cooks evenly.
Don't overcook the salmon, it can become dry. Perfectly cooked salmon should flake easily with a fork.
Use parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy clean up.
Experiment with different herbs and spices to find your perfect flavor combination.
Let the salmon rest for a few minutes after baking. This allows the juices to redistribute, making the salmon more moist and flavorful.
