Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Clean and debeard the mussels.
Place the mussels in a baking dish.
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour the garlic butter over the mussels.
Add the white wine to the dish.
Bake the mussels for about 20 minutes or until they open.
Discard any mussels that do not open.
Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mussels before serving.
Notes
Make sure to thoroughly clean the mussels before cooking. They can often have sand or grit inside them.
Discard any mussels that are already open before cooking. They may not be fresh.
Don't overcook the mussels. They can become tough and chewy if cooked for too long.
