Ingredients
3
ripe bananas
1
cup
sugar
2
cups
heavy cream
4
eggs
1
pre-made pie crust
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lay the pie crust in your pie dish and bake for 10 minutes, then set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, heavy cream, and eggs until well combined.
Mash the bananas and fold them into the cream mixture.
Pour the banana-cream mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set.
Allow the pie to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For the best texture, ensure your bananas are fully ripe before using.
Be sure not to over whip the cream as it can become grainy and lose its smoothness.
Chill the pie thoroughly before serving, ideally overnight, to help the pie set properly.
You can add more flavor by garnishing with chocolate shavings or a caramel drizzle.
Pre-bake your pie crust before adding the filling to prevent it from becoming soggy.
