Ingredients
1
tablespoon
of Cajun seasoning
500
grams
of pasta
300
grams
of Andouille sausage
sliced
2
bell peppers
sliced
1
cup
of heavy cream
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
In a large pan, cook the sausage until it's browned.
Add the bell peppers and Cajun seasoning to the pan and cook until the peppers are soft.
Add the cooked pasta and heavy cream to the pan. Stir until everything is well combined and the pasta is coated with the cream.
Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce is heated through.
Serve the pasta with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
Make sure you cook the pasta al dente because it will continue to cook in the sauce.
If the dish is too spicy, add more cream to neutralize the heat.
You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrients.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. They will stay good for about 2-3 days.
Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor, rather than pre-grated ones.
