Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it's fragrant.
Remove the pan from heat, and stir in the mascarpone cheese until it's melted and creamy.
Toss the cooked pasta in the mascarpone sauce. Stir until it's well-coated.
Tear the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the pasta.
Serve immediately, with additional basil and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
