1
head of cabbage
chopped
1
onion
sliced
3
cloves
of garlic
minced
1
cup
chicken broth
Instructions
In a large pan, sauté the sausage over medium heat until it is browned. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
In the same pan, sauté the onion until it is translucent.
Add the garlic and sauté until it's fragrant.
Add the cabbage to the pan and cook until it's slightly wilted.
Return the sausage to the pan and pour in the chicken broth.
Stir everything well, cover the pan, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.
Notes
Choose fresh and firm cabbage for the best flavor and texture.
Avoid overcooking the cabbage to retain its crunch and nutrients.
Sausages can be browned first to add an extra layer of flavor.
Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference. A dash of pepper can enhance the flavor.
Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition and color.
