Ingredients
2
whole red snappers
about 1-1.5 pounds each
2
lemons
3
garlic cloves
¼
cup
olive oil
½
cup
fresh parsley and/or cilantro
Instructions
Clean and scale the red snappers. Make a few diagonal cuts along each side of the fish.
Mince the garlic and mix with the juice of one lemon, olive oil, and chopped herbs.
Marinate the fish with this mixture for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
Place the marinated fish on the grill. Cook for about 7-10 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
Serve with additional lemon slices and fresh herbs.
Notes
Make sure to clean and scale the fish thoroughly before starting with the recipe.
Don't forget to oil the grill grates before placing the fish. This prevents the fish from sticking.
While grilling, it's essential to maintain medium heat to avoid overcooking the fish.
Be careful when flipping the fish. Using a spatula and tongs together can prevent the fish from breaking apart.
Fresh herbs and spices make a significant difference in flavor, so try to use fresh ingredients whenever possible.
