shrimp
peeled and deveined

pound
cheese or spinach tortellini
4
cloves
garlic

grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and reserve some pasta water.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add shrimp to skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 3 minutes per side.
Add cooked tortellini to skillet, stirring to combine. Add a bit of reserved pasta water to create a sauce.
Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Use a large pot for boiling tortellini to prevent sticking.
Thaw shrimp before cooking if using frozen.
Season shrimp with salt and pepper before cooking.
Cook tortellini al dente for best texture.
Drain tortellini, but save a bit of pasta water for sauce.
