Gather all the ingredients.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine water, vinegar, tomato paste, thyme, and garlic salt.
Step 2
Add the beef and marinate for 3 hours or overnight. Once done, remove and pat dry.
Step 3
Press "saute", heat oil and sear the beef on all sides.
Step 4
Pour in the marinade and extra cup of water or beef stock.
Step 5
Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
Step 6
When cooking time ends, wait for a natural pressure release.
Step 7
Open the lid, season with salt and pepper and serve :)
