There's no need to thaw the meatballs. Use them frozen.
This recipe gives a good consistency of sauce but if you want the sauce to be thicker, add some corn starch to water and stir. Then add this mixture to the sauce.
You can change this recipe up a bit too depends on how much sweet or spicy you want it to be.
