Shake and Bake is a popular brand of seasoned coating mix used for making crispy baked chicken or pork.

breadcrumbs

all-purpose flour

teaspoon
paprika

teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
dried herbs
thyme, oregano, or parsley
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
Place a portion of the mixture in a plastic bag or container with a lid.
Add your choice of meat (chicken, pork, or fish) and shake until evenly coated.
Bake or air fry according to the protein's recommended cooking time and temperature.
Notes
For a finer coating, pulse the mixture in a food processor.
Adjust the seasoning to your preference, adding more or less spices as desired.
Store any leftover Shake & Bake mix in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
To ensure even coating, press the mixture onto the meat after shaking off the excess.
For a lower-fat option, use an air fryer or bake on a wire rack to allow excess fat to drip off.
