48-count package wonton wrappers
Oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, green onions, and garlic.
Place a small spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it into a triangle, sealing the edges well.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the Rangoon in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
Avoid overfilling the wonton wrappers to prevent them from breaking during frying.
Seal the edges of the wrappers well to keep the filling from leaking out.
Fry the Rangoon in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
Place the fried Rangoon on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
