Pour 1 cup of water, edamame, and seasonings into the Instant Pot.
Close the lid, and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes (move the valve into the sealing position if necessary).
When cooking time is complete, do a quick release and open the lid.
Remove the edamame, serve and enjoy!

Notes
If you have the steamer basket for your Instant Pot, I would highly recommend using it. While it's unnecessary, Edamame will have a better taste and texture if it's removed from the water during the cooking process.
After you drain your edamame of excess water, pat them down with a clean cloth or paper towel to completely dry them. Then top your edamame with some additional sea salt and red pepper flakes before serving.
