  • 2 large salmon fillets
  • dijon mustard
  • thyme fresh or dried
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf


  1. Add water in the instant pot.

  2. Grease the salmon fillets with Dijon mustard.

  3. Sprinkle thyme on them.

  4. Place the fillets on the trivet and place trivet on the instant pot.

  5. Lock the lid of the instant pot.

  6. Set the instant pot to “Manual” at high pressure for 5 minutes, release the pressure naturally through steam vent.

  7. Release the steam and take out the trivet.

  8. Serve salmon and enjoy.
