  • 3 cups broccoli cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • cups cheddar cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • to taste salt and black pepper


  1. Put the olive oil and garlic in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”.

  2. Sauté for 45 seconds and add broccoli to the pot.

  3. Sauté for 5 minutes and stir in chicken broth.

  4. Set the instant pot to “Manual” mode for 5 minutes at high pressure.

  5. Release the pressure quickly and season with salt and black pepper.

  6. Select “Sauté” and cook for 2 more minutes.

  7. Stir in cheese and cream and let it simmer for 3 minutes.

  8. Dish out the soup in serving bowls and serve hot.
