Put the olive oil and garlic in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”.
Sauté for 45 seconds and add broccoli to the pot.
Sauté for 5 minutes and stir in chicken broth.
Set the instant pot to “Manual” mode for 5 minutes at high pressure.
Release the pressure quickly and season with salt and black pepper.
Select “Sauté” and cook for 2 more minutes.
Stir in cheese and cream and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
Dish out the soup in serving bowls and serve hot.
