Gather all the ingredients.

Step 1

Peel and Cut potatoes into cubes.

Step 2

Place the potatoes inside the Instant Pot.

Step 3

Add water.

Step 4

Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Do a quick release.

Step 5

Drain the water and press "saute".

Step 6

Add milk, butter, and mash the potatoes.

Step 7

Mash and mix well.
