Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 3 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup salmon pieces
  • 1 cup shrimp peeled
  • 1 cup crabmeat
  • 1 cup mussels cleaned
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
  • ยฝ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges optional

Instructions

  • Melt butter and oil in a big pot. Add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
  • Add potatoes, broth, and water. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  • Mix flour into milk and cream. Pour into pot and stir until thick.
  • Add salmon, shrimp, crabmeat, and mussels. Cook gently 5โ€“7 minutes.
  • Add salt, pepper, and paprika. Taste and adjust.
