Instant Pot TSO’s Chicken
- 1 pound chicken breast cut into 1-2- inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh minced ginger
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup green onion chopped
- 3 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 1/2 cup soya sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 3 tbsp red hot chili pepper chopped
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Dredge chicken in arrowroot powder and keep aside for 5 minutes.
Sauté for 3 minutes on each side and cancel the sauté function.
Whisk together all the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl to make a paste.
Add this paste to the Instant Pot and lock the lid.
Set the Instant Pot to “Manual” mode for 8 minutes at high pressure.
Release the pressure naturally and dish out the chicken.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion over it.
