Making them in Instant pot makes them quickly and also reserves their nutrients.
Instant Pot Steamed Artichokes
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tbsp chopped bay leaves
- 1/2 fresh lemon wedges
- 1 1/2 garlic cloves
- 2 fresh large artichokes
- dipping sauce
Add water, garlic cloves and bay leaf in the inner pot of Instant pot and place the steamer rack in it.
Rub the lemon wedge on the outer side of trimmed artichokes and place the artichokes on the rack.
Close the lid and press the “Manual” button.
Cook for about 10 minutes on HIGH pressure and release the pressure quickly through the steam vent.
Open the lid and remove the artichokes from the Instant pot.
Serve with melted butter and enjoy!
