Instant Pot Simple Fish Curry
- 6 mackerel or surmai fillets
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 12 garlic cloves
- 6 dry red chilies
- 4 large onions
- 2 tbso garlic paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tsp green cardamom powder
- 2 tsp dry ginger powder
- 4 tsp cumin seeds
- 8 whole cloves
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp salt
Place the fillets in a plate a season them with turmeric powder and salt.
Blend the remaining spices with and make a paste.
Turn on the instant pot and select sauté.
Add oil, dry red chilies, garlic paste and garlic cloves in it and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add onions and sauté them for 3 minutes
Add fillets and sauté for 2 minutes for both sides.
Add spice paste into it.
Close the lid of the instant pot.
Set instant pot to Manual at low pressure and cook for 5 minutes. Release the pressure naturally through steam vent.
Dish out and serve.
