Instant Pot Paneer Butter Masala

  • 1 lb paneer chunks
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green chili
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 2 tbsp dried methi leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tomatoes peeled and chopped
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Add all the ingredients except honey and paneer in the inner pot of Instant pot.
  • Close the lid and press the “Manual” button.
  • Cook for about 8 minutes on HIGH pressure and press the “Cancel” button.
  • Release the pressure naturally through the steam vent and open the lid.
  • Put the mixture in the immersion blender and blend well.
  • Again transfer the mixture in the Instant pot and add paneer and honey.
  • Select “Sauté” and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Dish out and serve hot.
