Instant Pot Manchow Soup

This is a hearty and delicious soup which incorporates many ingredients. Garnishing with roasted nuts, fried noodles and onion greens brightens up the taste.

  • 2 cups chinese vegetabes chopped
  • 2 green onion whites
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white chili oil
  • 30 oz vegetable stock
  • 2 tsp chili sauce
  • 1/2 inch ginger minced
  • 10 oz baby carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 oz fried noodles
  • Roasted crushed peanuts for garnishing

  • Add oil in the instant pot. Press “sauté” and add garlic, ginger, onion and carrots.
  • Add vegetable stock in the pot and put chili sauce, chili vinegar and soy sauce in it.
  • Secure with the lid and cook for 10 minutes on manual “high” pressure.
  • Release the pressure naturally.
  • Let the soup boil with all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with crushed roasted peanuts, onion greens and fried noodles and serve immediately.
