Instant Pot Frogmore Stew with Turkey

Unlike other stews, this one has very few ingredients and needs no complicated steps for cooking. All it needs is turkey sausages, potatoes and some seasoning.

Instant Pot Frogmore Stew with Turkey

  • 12 cup water
  • 1/4 cup bay seasoning
  • 1 lb purple potatoes
  • 6 ears of corn, husked cleaned
  • 1 (14 oz.) pakage turkey sausage reduced into roundels
  • 2 garlic cloves minced


  1. Select “Manual” function on the Instant Pot pressure cooker.

  2. Add water, potatoes and bay to its cooking pot.

  3. Secure the lid and cook for about 5 minutes at high pressure.

  4. Release the steam naturally then remove the lid.

  5. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  6. Cook on “Sauté” for about 5 minutes.

  7. Cook on “Sauté” for about 5 minutes.

  8. Transfer turkey sausages to the serving bowl.

  9. Top them with remaining sauce.

  10. Serve warm.
