Instant Pot Corn Chowder

This is a classic American dish. It is creamy and delicious. You can also add chicken and different veggies in it if you like.

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 cups corn
  • 1 lb potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 cup chicken stock
  • Add all the ingredients in instant pot and stir well.
  • Close and lid and seal it. 
  • Set the instant pot to “Manual” at high pressure for 12 minutes, release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Delicious…I added some chopped carrots and celery, then at end (pressure cooked for 8 min) I added 1/2 cup dry skim milk and 2 tbl of flour to a cup of stock I saved before I pressure cooked and then put on saute mode until the soup came to boiling. Added 3 slices of precooked bacon that I chopped….yum
