Instant Pot Chicken with Orange Sauce

  • 2 pound chicken breast cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 head garlic minced
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup soya sauce


  1. Put the olive oil and chicken in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”.

  2. Sauté for 3 minutes and add remaining ingredients to the Instant Pot while stirring constantly.

  3. Set the Instant Pot to “Manual” mode for 8 minutes at high pressure.

  4. Release the pressure naturally for 5 minutes and open the lid.

  5. Mix orange juice and corn-starch in a bowl and add it to the Instant Pot.

  6. Select “Sauté” and cook for 5 minutes while stirring continuously.

  7. Dish out and serve hot.
