Instant Pot Broccoli

Give the steamed broccoli a wonderful twist with the peanut oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, rice wine, ginger and garlic. Surely this side dish will turn veggie haters into broccoli lovers.

  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups brocoli florets
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp rice wine
  • In the bottom of Instant Pot, arrange a steamer basket and pour water.
  • Place the broccoli florets in steamer basket.
  • Secure the lid and turn to “Seal” position.
  • Cook on “Manual” with “High Pressure” for about3-4 minutes. 
  • Press “Cancel” and do a quick release.
  • Carefully, remove the lid and transfer the broccoli onto a plate.
  • Remove the steamer basket and water and with paper towels, pat dry the pot.
  • Add the oil in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”. Now, add the garlic and ginger and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli and remaining ingredients and cook for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Select “Cancel” and serve hot.
