Ground Beef Stroganoff

Ground beef stroganoff is a creamy, comforting dish thatโ€™s quick and easy to make. Itโ€™s a simple version of the classic stroganoff, using ground beef instead of steak. The rich sauce is made with mushrooms, onions, beef broth, and sour cream, then served over soft egg noodles or rice.

This recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight dinner because it comes together in about 30 minutes with basic ingredients. Itโ€™s warm, filling, and full of flavor. Kids and adults both love it, and itโ€™s also great for leftovers. You get a hearty meal without spending hours in the kitchen.

Why This Recipe Works

This recipe works because it takes just a few pantry staples and turns them into something rich and delicious. Ground beef cooks quickly and gives the dish a savory base. Mushrooms and onions add texture and depth, while sour cream makes the sauce creamy and tangy. It all comes together in one pan, which makes cleanup easy too.

Another great thing about this recipe is that itโ€™s flexible. You can use different meats, swap noodles for rice or mashed potatoes, and even add vegetables like peas or spinach. Itโ€™s a perfect meal when you want comfort food thatโ€™s easy, filling, and ready fast.
