Greek Pasta

Greek pasta is a light, fresh, and flavorful dish thatโ€™s super easy to make. Itโ€™s loaded with simple Mediterranean ingredients like juicy tomatoes, salty feta cheese, and briny olives. This pasta is not too heavy and perfect when you want a quick meal full of taste.

It comes together in just 25 minutes and uses ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Whether you want a quick lunch, an easy dinner, or a healthy side dish, this recipe is a great choice. Itโ€™s colorful, tasty, and a little different from regular pasta meals.

Why This Recipe Works

This recipe works because it uses fresh and simple ingredients that come together beautifully. The salty feta, sweet tomatoes, and tangy olives balance each other perfectly. Olive oil and garlic bring out extra flavor, while lemon juice adds a little brightness. Cooking the pasta until just tender and tossing it with the fresh toppings keeps it light but satisfying.

Another reason to love this recipe is how easy and flexible it is. You can add grilled chicken, shrimp, or chickpeas to make it a full meal. You can also enjoy it warm or cold as a pasta salad. Itโ€™s perfect for busy days when you need a fast, healthy, and delicious dish.

Ingredients

Pasta โ€“ The base of the dish. You can use penne, spaghetti, or any pasta you like. Whole wheat or gluten-free pasta also works.

Cherry Tomatoes โ€“ Adds sweetness and juiciness. You can use regular diced tomatoes if you donโ€™t have cherry tomatoes.

Feta Cheese โ€“ A soft, salty cheese that gives the pasta a creamy texture. You can substitute with goat cheese or ricotta.

Olives โ€“ Brings a briny, tangy flavor. Use black or green olives, or skip if you donโ€™t like them.

Olive Oil โ€“ Adds richness and helps mix everything together. You can use avocado oil instead.

Tips

  • Cook the pasta until just tender (al dente) so it doesn't get too soft.
  • Use fresh tomatoes and feta for the best flavor.
  • Add spinach or arugula for extra greens and freshness.
  • Toss the pasta with olive oil right after draining to keep it from sticking.
  • Save some pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.

How to Serve

Greek pasta is a fresh, flavorful meal perfect for lunch or dinner. The mix of salty feta, juicy tomatoes, olives, and pasta makes it light yet filling. Itโ€™s great for family meals, meal prep, or even a casual gathering with friends.

  • Simple Meal โ€“ Serve with garlic bread and a side salad.
  • Protein Boost โ€“ Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or chickpeas on top.
  • Cold Pasta Salad โ€“ Chill the pasta and serve it cold for a picnic or potluck.
