Instant Pot Manchow Soup

This is a hearty and delicious soup which incorporates many ingredients. Garnishing with roasted nuts, fried noodles and onion greens brightens up the taste.

  • 2 cups chinese vegetabes chopped
  • 2 green onion whites
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white chili oil
  • 30 oz vegetable stock
  • 2 tsp chili sauce
  • 1/2 inch ginger minced
  • 10 oz baby carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 oz fried noodles
  • Roasted crushed peanuts for garnishing

  1. Add oil in the instant pot. Press “sauté” and add garlic, ginger, onion and carrots.

  2. Add vegetable stock in the pot and put chili sauce, chili vinegar and soy sauce in it.

  3. Secure with the lid and cook for 10 minutes on manual “high” pressure.

  4. Release the pressure naturally.

  5. Let the soup boil with all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Garnish with crushed roasted peanuts, onion greens and fried noodles and serve immediately.
