Simple recipe you can make using the Instant Pot for dinner.

Why This Recipe Works

The very special thing about this recipe is that we don't have to worry about getting GOCHUJANG. The meat gets cooked completely in the Instant Pot and displays mouth-watering temptation via its appetizing texture. The dish is highly flavorful, and no area of the meat is left tasteless.

If you are not able to make up your mood to eat leftover rice, Instant Pot Korean Beef would be your partner!

Recipe Ingredients

Ginger - Very important ingredient, which you can cut as per the requirement and shred it to peel it out.

Garlic Cloves - Ginger without garlic can never work well. Garlic cloves add a strong flavor that spreads throughout the dish. If you want to multiply its effect, you can crush it too after chopping.

Orange Juice - Gentle acid that adds a sweet-tart flavor vibe to the dish and is used as a flavor enhancer.Apple -This apple would attract the doctor too! Its taste pairs well with orange juice and builds a unique flavor for Korean Beef.

Salt and Pepper - You can add salt and pepper into the recipe according to your preference and taste. Excess of these is definitely not good for health and recipe.

Olive oil - Extremely beneficial to make it a healthy recipe. It has powerful antioxidants and fatty acids which are good for the heart and arteries too. And of course, adds a different taste to the recipe.

Soy Sauce - A product made from soybeans, gives darkish color to the dish and adds sweetness to it. I would not recommend adding more than ½ cup.

How to make

Take a fresh apple, and peel it.

Recipe FAQs

What is  GOCHUJANG?

Gochujang or red chili paste is a flavorful, sweet, and fiery popular ingredient well known in Korean cooking.

It is produced using gochu-garu (chili powder), glutinous rice, meju (fermented soybean) powder, yeotgireum (barley malt powder), and salt.

The pleasantness comes from the starch of cooked glutinous rice, refined with saccharifying compounds during the maturation cycle.

What can I use instead of GOCHUJANG?

I would suggest if you can purchase a container of gochujang sauce then you should.

If you can't use gochujang sauce (or simply don't have any desire to buy it), you can substitute a blend that comprises:

  • a little Sriracha,
  • a scramble of extra soy sauce,
  • a little extra additional orange juice,
  • and apple to taste all things being equal.

What is so good about Korean Beef?

The best thing about the recipe is the mix of flavors.

The sweet and spicy flavors will prevail upon each & everyone, and easily available beef chuck makes it shockingly kind with your budget.

In addition, cooking Korean beef in the Instant Pot saves time and makes cleanup a snap.
